Question 1 I have booked a space at a show and don’t know what to do with it?
Answer You need to work out your reason for attending the show. For example is it to promote or launch a new product, or to keep brand awareness and get new leads. Along with your budget that will determine what your stand will look like. If you have a tight budget, you can DIY using the individual companies listed on this site or if your budget is better, you can have one of the full turnkey companies also listed on this site, to do everything in house for you.

Question 2
Should I choose a big space or is a small space like a 3x3booth enough?
Answer Well, it depends on the reason for your presence at the show and your budget. If your product speaks for itself, and is already well known then a good visual stand with large graphics will have a greater impact. Therefore, if you have less special requirements for product display then a smaller space will only require the minimum for making your clients feel welcome.

Question 3 How do I know what exhibition stand to choose?
Answer It depends on how much of the stand you want to use again after the show. Custom built stands create an aesthetically pleasing look and constructed from supawood and paint (mostly). The design can be very creative with a good budget and can have a greater impression on the audience. With custom though it’s harder to reuse most of the stand afterwards as it’s too big to transport whole and gets broken down. Graphics are not easily salvaged afterwards. A system built stand can also be well designed and creative with a good budget. It has an advantage to using large graphics. Most systems are aluminium profiles that lock together to for a framework. Graphic panels can usually be kept and reused a few times afterwards.

Question 4 I can’t decide to go with a portable exhibition system or let someone build it for us. What are the advantages of either?
Answer
It again depends on how often you are going to use the stand and what kind of show you will attend. A portable stand is nice to use for conferences and smaller shows. It is restricted though in it’s aesthetics, but practical for changing graphics often and easily and can usually fit into a small space comfortably. If you have the budget for getting the professionals in, then you are guaranteed to have something more appealing for your money. You can sit back and let someone do the hard work and know you will have a much greater result.
